Amulet

Amulet is a novel by Roberto Bolaño that tells the story of Auxilio Lacouture, a Uruguayan woman living in Mexico City. She becomes the 'mother of Mexican poetry' and recounts her experiences during the 1968 student massacre at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
