A glimpse into the mind of one of the most unique sculptors of the twentieth century. This monograph considers Mattiacci�s historic adventures starting from the 1960s, when the artist was associated with the Italian avant-garde movement Arte Povera.Germano Celant was the senior curator of contemporary art at the Guggenheim Museum in New York from 1989 to 2008. He has been a contributing editor at Artforum since 1977 and at Interview since 1991.
