Print Shop / Matt Borruso

by

Print Shop documents Matt Borruso’s 2023 exhibition of the same name held at San Francisco's Et. al etc. The work consists of fifty screen prints, each with variations, made by hand, one at a time, on found paper and coated card stock, using an analog process falling somewhere between photography and painting. They are multiples but each is also unique. No one print is exactly the same as another. The images used to produce these prints have been repeatedly copied and altered. Repetition and reproduction is the process. The copy is the subject. Cover screen printed by the artist. Published by Colpa, 2024 Printed in a limited edition of 180 copies Softcover, 136 pages, full color digital printing, 8.75 × 10.25 inches
