Richard Long

This is Richard Long's second artist's book with works and 'walks' on three continents, created between 1994 and 1996. Treks across England, synchronized walks along the shoreline of France and England, and a leap-year walk that ends at midnight during a lunar eclipse are all integrated components of Long's work. The voyages are documented with photography, sketches, and terse, rhythmic prose. Richard Long's first retrospective catalog went through three print runs, and his first artist's book, Old World- New World, is out of print after two print runs. This masterpiece, printed in a limited edition with 45 color and duotone images, is truly a collector's item.
