Snow onto the Sea

Snow onto the sea, the sea coated. But very soon the snow dissolves and disperses. The memory of the departed is like a river winding, from the sea to the upstream.The drawing series by Son Ni, re-editing for almost 10 years, carries her thoughts with the passing of her grandmothers. The book is letterpress embossed, leaving traces of the lines that blend with the papers as one.Part of the drawings were made and exhibited in the forms of ceramic plaques and paper works, previously published by Nieves in Switzerland and Lagon Revue in France. Now this expanded re-edit is published and stands on its own.
