The Course of History | Collector’s Edition

Published in an edition of 40 copies, this special limited edition of The Course of History includes a numbered and signed photograph by Michiels, and is issued in a cloth slipcase. The image of the limited print is entitled “Verdun 1916, Le Mort Homme, 2001”. Bart Michiels shows seemingly innocuous landscapes - some romantic and beautiful, others somber and desolate - that are in fact the sites of the most barbarous battles in European history.
