Tim Brüning: Wie Gott in Frankreich

During his journeys through the cities of Cannes, Nice and Paris, photographer Tim Bruening documents the French lifestyle between mainstream and counterculture. He drifts through the Parisian summer and accompanies sought-after actress Laura Tonke off the red carpet to the Cannes Film Festival. In his search for pop-cultural fragments, Bruening captures paradoxical worlds: the outstanding beauty of simplicity, as well as the extreme banality of supposedly extraordinary situations. With his photographs, he succeeds in immersing himself in situations, observing them and at the same time taking a step back. To maintain distance in order to reflect on the impressions and comment on them with his work. Distinctive moments between reality and fantasy are captured. 64 pages, 315 × 235 mm Hardcover English First edition Printed in EU
