Wardance Discography Fanzine

by

Wardance is a hardcore punk label that first existed from 1990 to 1994, run by Freddy Alva. After a hiatus, the label relaunched in 2011: "At a time when NYHC [New York Hardcore] was becoming increasingly commercialized, Wardance came along and presented a strong DIY alternative. Records from the likes of Citizens Arrest, Rorschach and others had pure intensity, while pushing hardcore in brain-melting directions. And we should be grateful that Freddy restarted the label so that previously unheard of or long out-of-print releases wouldn't be lost to history." —Al Quint ( Suburban Voice ) In this zine, the Wardance discography (1990-2023) is fully documented—with photography, ephemera, and commentary for each release. A fantastic collection of materials documenting two critical periods in hardcore history, and a visual resource that shows layouts, branding, and band visual identities.
