Wardance is a hardcore punk label that first existed from 1990 to 1994, run by Freddy Alva. After a hiatus, the label relaunched in 2011: "At a time when NYHC [New York Hardcore] was becoming increasingly commercialized, Wardance came along and presented a strong DIY alternative. Records from the likes of Citizens Arrest, Rorschach and others had pure intensity, while pushing hardcore in brain-melting directions.
