Connections: The architecture of Richard England, 1964-84

Maltese architect Richard England has established an international reputation with his work on the island and, more recently, in the Middle East. Although he is also a prolific designer, sculptor, painter, poet, photographer and writer, this book discusses 60 buildings and projects which represent 20 years of his architecture since he left Gio Ponti’s studio in Milan. They include hotels holiday apartments, villas, churches, public and commercial buildings, all of which reflect his search for a ‘valid contemporary Regionalism.’
