Darien Birks: Knew Normal

by

The Knew Normal series is a collection of illustrations that speak directly and indirectly to what life has been like since taking a risk on myself, and exiting corporate America. It doesn't cover everything, but I had some fun visualizing my down time and hints of my thought process. The transition into this new life has been slow but steady due to being in quarantine. I'm taking things a day at-a-time, and have allowed day-to-day randomness (productive and non-productive) to inform my work. Knew Normal plays on the fact that I'm moving forward into a new space creatively, and in life. Text and Artwork by Darien Birks Published by FISK Design by Michael Spoljaric Printed by Brown 5x8", 24 pages, kraft paper cover, coated interior pages p rinted on an HP Indigo . First edition of 100.
