This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Christie's New York on June 5, 2007. The sale consisted of furniture by Jean Prouve, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and others and most especially of course Jean Prouve's prototype house design for the tropics, the Maison Tropicale, which was set in both Paris and New York before the auction. A whole section is devoted to the Maison Tropicale, with reproductions of Prouve literature from the period.
