Catalogs and books published by Israeli artists in the 70s and 80s Local Wind is an essay and reference book by Aroch featuring scans of catalogs and artists' books created by Israeli artists Igael Tumarkin, Pinchas Cohen Gan, Ezra Orion and Yitzhak Danziger in the 70s and 80s. The artists that created and published books during those years wandered out into the field, conducting research that was personal, intimate and essential to their work. They were driven by a desire or dream to create a different reality through and in relation to concepts such as locality, identity, otherness and land, around which most of the projects and activities evolved.
