Unlimited

The special sector of Art Basel, Unlimited, has been taking place under the auspices of the world’s most important art fair since 2000. The concept of this large, museum-like exhibition within an art fair is unique and popular with both collectors and visitors. Every year, between 70 and 90 artists are invited to this exceptional platform, which defies limitations and experiments with new forms of presentation. Oversized works are shown to their best effect in the gigantic, 17,000 square-meter hall. Like its predecessor, the current installment of Unlimited promises to attract considerable attention. It is a dynamic presentation of unique contemporary works that does not understand itself as a museum, which orders and classifies.
