Julio Le Parc (*1928 in Mendoza) is one of the best-known kinetic artists in the world. After studying in Argentina, Le Parc moved to Paris in 1958, where he and other young artists, including François Morellet, founded GRAV (Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel) in 1960.
