Abraham Pais

Abraham Pais was a Dutch-American physicist and science historian who served as an assistant to Niels Bohr and a colleague of Albert Einstein at the Institute for Advanced Study. A former professor at Rockefeller University, he authored several notable works, including the Einstein biography Subtle is the Lord and Inward Bound: Of Matter and Forces in the Physical World. He received the Lewis Thomas Prize for science writing in 1995.
