Achille Mbembe

Achille Mbembe is a Cameroonian historian and political theorist born in 1957. He serves as a research professor in history and politics at the Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of the Witwatersrand. A prominent figure in new wave French critical theory, he is widely recognized for his scholarly contributions to the study of colonialism and its enduring consequences.
