Alexander Clark

Alexander G. Clark was an American businessman, lawyer, and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Liberia. A prominent activist, he successfully litigated for school integration in Iowa and campaigned for African American voting rights. In addition to his political work, Clark was a journalist and editor of The Conservator in Chicago, earning recognition for his public speaking skills.
