Alice Kaplan

Alice Yaeger Kaplan is an American scholar of French literature born in 1954. She serves as the Sterling Professor of French at Yale University, where her work focuses on 20th-century French history, intellectual life, and literature. Kaplan is also recognized for her contributions to the fields of translation and Romance studies.
