Ando Hiroshige

Ando Hiroshige, born Ando Tokutaro, was a prominent Japanese ukiyo-e artist and a member of the Utagawa school. Recognized as the last great master of the ukiyo-e tradition, his body of work encompasses landscape painting, xylography, and draftsmanship. His contributions remain central to the study of Kasei culture and the evolution of Japanese woodblock printing.
