Anthony Aveni

Anthony Aveni is an American academic, astronomer, and anthropologist recognized for his extensive contributions to archaeoastronomy and cultural astronomy. He serves as the Russell Colgate Distinguished University Professor of Astronomy and Anthropology and Native American Studies, Emeritus at Colgate University. Over his career, he has authored more than 34 books and 300 research publications.
