Bernd & Hilla Becher

Bernd and Hilla Becher were a German conceptual artist duo recognized for their extensive photographic typologies of industrial structures, typically presented in grid arrangements. As the founders of the Düsseldorf School of Photography, they exerted a significant influence on generations of documentary photographers. Their collaborative work was honored with both the Erasmus Prize and the Hasselblad Award.
