Emmet Gowin

Emmet Gowin is an American photographer who first gained recognition in the 1970s for his intimate portraits of his wife and her family. His later work shifted toward aerial landscape photography, documenting sites altered by human activity or natural forces. In addition to his creative practice, Gowin served as a teacher at Princeton University for over 35 years.
