Audrey Wollen

Audrey Wollen is an American writer and artist known for developing the Sad Girl Theory, which gained prominence through social media. Her essays have appeared in publications such as The Nation, The New York Review of Books, and Artforum. Wollen's visual work has been exhibited at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art Warsaw and the Steve Turner Gallery. She currently lives and works in New York.
