Barry Kemp
Barry John Kemp (1940–2024) was an English archaeologist and Egyptologist who served as a Professor of Egyptology at the University of Cambridge. He is widely recognized for directing excavations at the site of Amarna in Egypt. His publication, Ancient Egypt: Anatomy of a Civilisation, remains a foundational text within the fields of Egyptology and ancient history.
