Bill Schelly

William Carl Schelly (1951–2019) was an American author and historian recognized for his extensive documentation of comic book history and fandom. He authored numerous biographies focusing on prominent comic creators such as Otto Binder, L.B. Cole, Joe Kubert, Harvey Kurtzman, John Stanley, and James Warren. Additionally, Schelly wrote a biography on the silent film comedian Harry Langdon.
