Bruce Gilden

Bruce Gilden is an American street photographer born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1946. He is recognized for his candid, flash-assisted close-up portraits of individuals in New York City. A member of Magnum Photos since 1998, Gilden is a Guggenheim Fellow and a recipient of the European Publishers Award for Photography. He has authored numerous books documenting his work.
