Candice Breitz

Candice Breitz is a South African artist working primarily in video and photography. Her practice features multi-channel moving image installations that examine the attention economy, celebrity culture, and the relationship between fictional characters and global issues. In 2017, she represented South Africa at the 57th Venice Biennale and is a recipient of the 2007 Prince Pierre de Monaco Prize.
