Charles Desmarais

Charles Joseph Desmarais is an American art historian, critic, and academic administrator. Born in 1949, he has served as the president of the San Francisco Art Institute and worked as the art critic for the San Francisco Chronicle. His career spans extensive roles in museum direction and art criticism.
