Chester W. Hartman

Chester W. Hartman (1936–2023) was an American urban planner, author, and academic. He served as the Director of Research and Executive Director of the Poverty & Race Research Action Council and founded the Planners Network. Throughout his career, he held faculty positions at numerous institutions, including Harvard, Yale, Cornell, and the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
