Chip Kidd

Charles Kidd is an American graphic designer, editor, and author born in 1964. Currently serving as the vice president and art director at Knopf and editor-at-large at Pantheon, he is widely recognized for his iconic book cover designs. His extensive body of work includes two novels and numerous non-fiction titles focused on graphic design and comics, particularly the Batman series. He has received five Eisner Awards, the 2014 AIGA Medal, and the 2007 American National Design Award.
