Chloe Zhao

Chloé Zhao is a Chinese-born filmmaker known primarily for her work on independent films. She has served as a director, screenwriter, producer, and editor throughout her career. In 2020, she directed Nomadland, a project for which she became the second woman in history to win the Academy Award for Best Director.
