Dadabhai Naoroji was an Indian political leader, merchant, scholar, and writer who served as a foundational figure in the Indian National Congress. He held the position of President of the Congress on three separate occasions and served as a Liberal Party Member of Parliament in the British House of Commons from 1892 to 1895. Throughout his career, he actively advocated for Indian interests in both British and Indian public life.
