David Freedberg
David Freedberg is an American art historian serving as the Pierre Matisse Professor of the History of Art and Director of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. He previously held the position of Director of the Warburg Institute at the University of London from 2015 to 2017. His career is defined by his extensive work in academia and art history research.
