David Heska Wanbli Weiden
David Heska Wanbli Weiden is a Lakota American author of crime and thriller novels and a professor of political science at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His debut novel, Winter Counts, received multiple honors, including the Anthony, Lefty, ITW Thriller, Barry, Macavity, and Spur awards. In addition to his work as a novelist and short story writer, he serves as a university teacher.
