David Sedaris

David Sedaris is an American humorist, comedian, and essayist born in 1956. He gained public recognition in 1992 following the broadcast of his essay Santaland Diaries on National Public Radio. Since publishing his debut collection Barrel Fever in 1994, he has authored multiple New York Times bestsellers, including the 2000 Thurber Prize-winning collection Me Talk Pretty One Day.
