David W. Lesch

David W. Lesch is the Ewing Halsell Distinguished Professor of Middle East History at Trinity University. A frequent commentator on regional politics, he specializes in Syrian history and conflict resolution. He has led multiple international research initiatives, including the Harvard-NUPI-Trinity Syria Research Project and the CDI-Trinity University Syria Initiative, which aim to provide multi-dimensional analysis of the Syrian civil war.
