David Weisburd

David Weisburd is an Israeli-American criminologist recognized for his research on crime and place, policing, and white-collar crime. He is a Distinguished Professor at George Mason University and Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A recipient of the Stockholm Prize in Criminology and the Israel Prize, he serves as Executive Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy and is a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
