David Wengrow

David Wengrow is a British archaeologist and Professor of Comparative Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. He co-authored the book The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity, which received the J.I. Staley Prize and the Wenjin Book Prize. His writing on social inequality and climate change has appeared in The Guardian and The New York Times, and he was recognized in ArtReview's 2021 Power 100 list.
