Dennis Farr

Dennis Larry Ashwell Farr (1929–2006) was a British art historian and curator known for his commitment to 20th-century British art. He served as the director of the City Museums and Art Gallery in Birmingham from 1969 to 1980 and later directed the Courtauld Institute Galleries from 1980 to 1993. Through his extensive exhibition work and scholarly writing, he established a significant reputation within the field.
