Diego Velazquez

Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez was a prominent Spanish Baroque painter and a leading figure of the Spanish Golden Age. Serving as the primary artist in the court of King Philip IV of Spain and Portugal, he produced significant works across the genres of portraiture, mythology, history, and religious art.
