Douglas A. Irwin

Douglas A. Irwin is an American economist and the John French Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College. An expert on U.S. trade policy, particularly during the Great Depression, he has authored seven books on the subject. He serves as a nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and frequently contributes analysis to major media outlets including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
