Duriel E. Harris

Duriel E. Harris is an American poet, performer, sound artist, and scholar. She is the author of three poetry collections, including Drag, Amnesiac: Poems, and No Dictionary of a Living Tongue. Her interdisciplinary work integrates voice, music, visual art, and film. Harris serves as a professor of English at Illinois State University and is the editor of the literary journal Obsidian: Literature & Arts in the African Diaspora.
