Edward Weston

Edward Weston was an influential American photographer whose career spanned four decades. Known for his focus on the people and landscapes of the American West, he captured a diverse range of subjects including nudes, still lifes, and portraits. In 1937, he became the first photographer to receive a Guggenheim Fellowship, which allowed him to produce nearly 1,400 negatives using his 8x10 view camera.
