Elizabeth Darling

Elizabeth Darling, born Elizabeth Dumaresq, was a British philanthropist and artist who lived from 1798 to 1868. She was married to Sir Ralph Darling, who served as the Governor of New South Wales between 1825 and 1831. Her legacy is defined by her contributions as a community worker and her creative practice.
