Ernest Henry Shackleton

Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton was an Anglo-Irish explorer and a central figure of the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration. Throughout his career, he led three separate British expeditions to the Antarctic region. His contributions to polar discovery remain a significant part of his legacy as a military officer and explorer.
