Ezra Jack Keats

Ezra Jack Keats was an American author and illustrator recognized for introducing multiculturalism into mainstream children's literature. He wrote 22 books and illustrated over 70 others, most notably the 1963 Caldecott Medal winner The Snowy Day. His work, characterized by a signature collage style, has been translated into approximately 20 languages worldwide.
