Fatimah Asghar

Fatimah Asghar is an American poet, screenwriter, educator, and performer. They are the author of the poetry collection If They Should Come for Us and the chapbook After. Asghar is also the co-creator and writer of the Emmy-nominated web series Brown Girls, which explores friendships between women of color. Their writing has appeared in numerous publications including Poetry, The Margins, and BuzzFeed Reader.
