Floyd Cooper
Floyd Cooper was an American illustrator of children's literature whose work frequently explored the African American experience. Based in Easton, Pennsylvania, he illustrated more than 100 titles throughout his career. He collaborated with numerous authors, including Jane Yolen, Nikki Grimes, Eloise Greenfield, Howard Bryant, Joyce Carol Thomas, and Bill Martin Jr.
