Fred Moten

Fred Moten is an American poet, cultural theorist, and scholar specializing in black studies and performance studies. Currently a professor at New York University, he has held academic positions at Duke University, the University of Iowa, and the University of California, Riverside. His extensive body of work includes influential scholarly texts such as The Undercommons and In the Break, alongside numerous poetry collections including The Little Edges and The Feel Trio.
