Friedrich Achleitner

Friedrich Achleitner was an Austrian poet, architecture critic, and member of the Wiener Gruppe, where he focused on concrete poetry and experimental literature. He served as a professor of the history and theory of architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. His major work is a multi-volume documentation of 20th-century Austrian architecture, a project he completed by personally visiting every building described over the course of several decades.
